In 2018, she launched Equalitee, a platform to challenge gender stereotypes in early childhood. Equalitee also sells an award-winning range of gender-cool merchandise.
Based on the insight that sporting excellence starts young, Amita believes there is an urgent need to build a conversation around the adoption of sports in early childhood.
Through Equalsportz, Amita aims to leverage popular culture and technology to engage children and parents to explore and embrace sporting careers and enable them to kick-start their sports journey early.
Amita is a marketing, and communication professional with over 17 years of work experience and has helped several brands and corporates with impactful communication programs.
She is passionate about leveraging communication for social impact.
She is the mother of a 9-year-old golf athlete.
