Raising An Athlete – Sports Talk Series, is a forum bringing together athletes, coaches, experts, parents, and young athletes for honest conversations about what it really takes to build a sporting journey.
Beyond training schedules and tournament results, we want to address the realities that shape young athletes - balancing not just sport and studies, but also managing financial pressures, bridging coaching and information gaps, understanding the mental and emotional side of the game, and making long-term development and career decisions. We put every challenge and opportunity on the table to discuss openly and constructively. The goal is simple - to build a stronger, more informed, and more connected junior and youth sports community in India.

Junior Golfers (and in select cases non-juniors too) can now play a 9 hole golf round with some of the best amateur and pro golfers. Gain tips on course management, decision-making and build confidence playing alongside some of the best.

Book a slot with your chosen playing partner below. The fee below only includes the stipend for playing partner partner for their time and advice. 'You' will need to make sure to coordinate your tee time and pay for your (junior golfer's) golf round + caddie fee at the respective golf facility by paying them directly. Make sure to reach 15 minutes before your agreed tee off to coordinate with the playing partner.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Amita is the Founder of Equalsportz, a platform focused on beginner and intermediate athletes, and their parents. She is host of 'Raising an Athlete' podcast and sports talk serious, where she, a sport parent herself, speaks with top athletes, coaches, experts, and parents to draw insights focused on supporting young athletes. In 2018, she founded Equalitee, India's first gender-cool brand for kids and we try to create positive, gender-equal narratives through media and culture. Amita is a board member for TARSHI, a non-profit organization that works on sexuality and reproductive health issues. Passionate about social impact and humane technology, Amita is located in New Delhi, India.
